Hi! I'm Dr. Rachel Kurinsky. I'm a board-certified family medicine physician and love caring for patients across every stage of life. I earned my medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and completed my family medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois, where I developed a deep appreciation for relationship-based primary care. After training, I spent five years working in rural Wisconsin, and more recently have been taking care of patients just down the road in Plainville.
As a family doctor, I enjoy partnering closely with patients, listening carefully, and solving problems together. Whether it's preventive care, managing chronic conditions, or helping you feel your best day to day, my goal is to make your care personal, accessible, and supportive.
Outside of work, you'll catch me hanging out with my husband and kids. I love exploring local hiking trails, trying new art projects, and experimenting with recipes in the kitchen (the spicer the better!). At the end of the day, you'll find me relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book. I'm originally from Maryland, and like all real Marylanders, I love crabs and our distinctive state flag. You'll spy both around my office, on my car, on my clothes…anywhere I can put them!
It is an honor and a privilege to be a family doctor, and to help people live their best, healthiest lives. I'm excited for the opportunity to join Luna Health and partner with you on your health journey.
