Luna Health DPC, a membership-based direct primary care practice serving families in southeastern Massachusetts, today announced the addition of Rachel Kurinsky, MD, to its growing care team. Dr. Kurinsky is tentatively scheduled to start on May 18, 2026 at our new Foxboro office.
Dr. Kurinsky is a board-certified family medicine physician with a strong commitment to relationship-based, patient-centered care. She earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. She completed her family medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, where she developed a deep appreciation for unhurried, personalized care focused on long-term patient relationships.
Most recently, Dr. Kurinsky cared for patients at Sturdy Health Primary Care in Plainville, Massachusetts, where she built lasting relationships with individuals and families throughout the community. Her experience serving the local region makes her a natural fit for Luna Health. Many of her former patients will now have the opportunity to continue their care with her in a direct primary care setting that emphasizes time, access, and personalized attention.
As a family physician, Dr. Kurinsky provides care for patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults. Her clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, and collaborative decision-making. She is known for her attentive listening, problem-solving approach, and commitment to supporting patients through every stage of life.
For current Luna patients, Dr. Garabedian will continue to serve as the primary physician for her existing patient panel, maintaining the strong relationships she has built with families over the years. Dr. Kurinsky will be building her own panel of new patients, ensuring that every patient receives the personalized, hands-on care they deserve from their dedicated physician. Having two physicians on the team also means greater flexibility and continuity of care: when one doctor is on vacation or unavailable due to illness, the other can provide seamless support while maintaining the same high standard of care patients have come to expect from Luna Health.
